The minor in Environmental Engineering is open to students majoring
in any field except Civil Engineering. This minor allows students to
further their knowledge in the areas of environmental engineering and
sustainability. The field of environmental engineering is wide but
students can choose to focus on a particular area depending on the
courses they choose. Students wishing to pursue the minor are
responsible for completing all course prerequisites or establishing
prerequisite equivalency. In addition to University-wide requirements,
students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours from the following
