American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
The American Society of Civil Engineers chapter at AUD is a student group who invites members from among Civil Engineering majors to participate in community service events, engineering competitions and other activities. The group hosts the annual wooden bridge competition, and participates in ongoing social and networking events scheduled throughout the year. ASCE also invites guest speakers to address their student membership on ethics, professional licensing and other activities that relate to becoming a professional civil engineer.

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than 145,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide and is America's oldest national engineering society.
