Nancy Hantour
Training manager, ABB

Nancy Hantour has a degree from Canada as a Nuclear Engineer under the department of Engineering Physics with over 15 years of experience in the nuclear field and 2 years as a technical training manager in ABB. Nancy first started her career working in Canada for 8 years in Ontario Power Generation (OPG) as a Reactor Safety Engineer and Regulatory Affairs acting section head before moving to the UAE to work for Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) for 7 years as a Senior Nuclear Licensing Specialist and a Safeguards and Security Specialist responsible for the importing and reporting of nuclear material and equipment into the UAE. While working at ENEC, Nancy has worked closely with the Federal Nuclear Regulator as well as the military while also representing ENEC annually at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna for several Nuclear Safety Conventions. Currently, Nancy holds a position as a training manager at the ABB world class training facility developing training programs for both young and experienced technicians and engineers in the oil and gas industry as well as all ABB installed based industries within the UAE and GCC. She upholds her career while caring for her three children as a single mother and has recently grown an interest in 'Women in Engineering' to speak on her lessons learned and motivate young female engineers to grow and thrive in the world of Engineering.
