Rawan Aloul

Rawan Aloul, an MBA graduate, PMP and ITIL certified, with a Computer Engineering BS degree, is an experienced professional in Operations, Performance, Service Delivery & Project Management fields, with a background ranging between vendor and operator experience. Currently working in du, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company as IT Performance and Governance manager, Rawan is responsible for managing the performance of the IT verticals and their outsourced Managed Service Providers with respect to defined key performance indicators, Balance Score Card performance, compliance to internal and external regulatory requirements, audits, security policies and standards. Rawan uses a data driven approach with a focus on Time-to-Market, quality, customer experience and efficiency, to perform data analysis, identify process gaps and risks of non-compliance and report back to executive management with mitigation plans. In 2014 Rawan lead the ISO 27001 certification for IT team in du and since then ensured the successful renewal of the certificate. Integral to this success was her management of stakeholder relationships and cross functional teams. Prior to that, Rawan Aloul worked for 5 years with EMC as a Project Manager during which she served as the focal point of contact and led the full lifecycle of Professional Services delivery engagements for Enterprise and key accounts in various industries across the Middle East. She managed resources, time, cost, customer relationships and expectations and ensured delivering simultaneous successful projects. Rawan received the Most Valuable player in Professional Services team award in EMC in 2012, and the Best Performer in IT award in du in 2014.
